A cat as dark as a charcoal 

Out and about back on his night prowl

Slowly he walks through the city and all

His copper eyes are flashy and glow 

His toes might move slow 

But watch out for his jaws and claws 

His sharp teeth can make you bleed

Fast I run to him and I duck

As I hope this black cat would bring me luck
